When the online store re-opens will the new single, Hiero Oldies II and the video comp all be available? Will the video have the you never knew video on it?

The single can now be purchased at record stores worldwide and online through distributors like Sandbox. Check the front page for more info. Oldies II is well on its way and will debut with the rennovated emporium. The Hiero video compilation is being discussed, but copies of "You Never Knew" may become available very shortly.

Damn, how come San Diego got assed out of a show'??? Heads in San Diego alwayz look forward to a Hiero' show. We have been waiting for the location of the show to be announced and we find out that they are not even gonna come now. Why? Why not????

The promoters in Diego kinda fumbled around too long, and an offer was made in Claremont to do a show, so the Ro's took that. All hope isn't totally lossed. L.A. isn't that far away, or if you know a willing promoter, Hiero isn't doing shit on the 11th or 12th (but they might end up going home for a breather....)

I saw that the hieroglyphics are being advertised on the la pe�a calendar on october 17th for a free mumia abu-jamal benefit. on your tour schedule, it says they're going to be at the phoenix theater in petaluma. are they doing both dates or is one of them wrong?

The la pe�a date is wrong...they wanted to do the benefit but were unable to fit it into their schedule (The promoter of the benefit called this morning very disturbed and apologetic that flyers and advertising had gone out with their name on it...He thought they'd be pissed).

I don't know yet. It sounds like it may be compilation material. But if I had to pick, I'd lean more towards Del's record.

Nah. There's been some talk of Future Development going on to CD. That's the only online store record that originally came from DAT besides FOCUS, although, I wouldn't hold your breath. It's a possibility tho. I'm pushing for it.

Is Del doin anything with Aceyalone on his new joint?

Ahhh! There have been many many instances where it looked as if the two were going to team up, but it just never happened. Del is very anxious to work with other people on this next record, so let's hope so. I'll keep you up.

What stations will carry the hiero video?

All the majors (MTV, BET, The BOX, Much Music, etc.) and then all the mom and pop stations, etc. But it'll be up to us to get them to play the damn thing. We're working on an all-out assault on the networks right now. It'll be the kind of thing where everyone will call all at once and bombard the stations with requests for HIEROGLYPHICS! that they'll just have to play it. Watch for more shortly.

I dig hiero and have been a fan since '91, but this new video is someting I do not support. It makes Hiero look like hypocrites. I quote Who?: "but these niggas on tv, they hella fake." What's the video all about if they're preaching that and claiming underground? Indie--yes; but not underground.
