It's no secret that the crew has been working feverishly on this project, as it represents not only their first complete family collaboration in more than 4 years, but it may also represent a threshhold for the crew.
Many of the heads in the Hiero Imperium are looking towards this album as a means to propel them into a new audience. Such is the case with Casual who is waiting for the Hiero album to drop first before he releases two seperate solo albums. Others in the crew hope the album will be an audible tour-de-force, and a means to kill all the wack shit! And, of course, many in the Hieroglyphics crew are happy that the entire family has finally come together and worked on the same effort in unison.
The project has now gone from 4-track recording, to actual studio work; a product doesn't seem too far away.
A package was sent off to me yesterday, the contents of which I am not sure. There's definately some new sounds in there, & hopefully some of those will be clips from the Family Album. . .Stay tunned. . .
