There are demo tracks by The Shamen (Pep Love & JayBiz) on the Hiero Olides cassettes dating as far back as 1991. Not that Pep Love hasn't been putting in work as evidenced by numerous b-sides, "3rd Eye Vision" and appearances on every Hiero record save "I Wish My Brother George Was Here". But it's taken 10+ years for this unequivocally touted underground legend to drop his own full length record. And here it is.

Pep Love's "Ascension" is a 16 track monster, consisting of over 73 minutes worth of original music. Released today, July 24th 2001, the record can now be scooped up at your local record stores across the country on 2X LP Vinyl, Cassette or Compact Disc.
