Last night, at Catfish Station in Austin, Texas, parts of Hieroglyphics were rippin' shit. J-Biz, Pep Love, Domino, Casual, and the funkee one himself were the members signed to come. Unfortunatly Casual had to bail out cause of bullshit about the money, but the people at Catfish hooked it up so that Opio, and Phesto of the Souls crew could perform. The shit was real live.

Pep and J-Biz started the shit off real tight. They were on for about 25 minutes and then Opio and Phesto came on and did some hype shit. They played a number off their old shit and a lot of their new shit. Opio was in the middle of his rhyme during one song and phukked up and played it off like this, "Ah, phuk! I'll just freestyle!" and then went into his own world! Phesto took over and started a freestyle of his own and completely ripped shit up! Phesto tore the mic to pieces! I have never heard shit that hype in a long time. And that wasn't it. Opio and Phesto knew that everyone was looking forward to seeing Casual and considering that it has been less than two months since we saw Souls of Mischief, they knew that they had to do something new. They told us that since Casual wasn't [there that night] that he would want them to rap "This Is How We Rip Shit." So the whole crowd was rapping along with Opio and Phesto to Casual's bomb. After Souls finished their shit the [stage crew] were screwing around, acting like we [had to] wait for DEL to come on. The crowd started a chant for DEL and when he came on it was like a bomb had dropped. The crowd was so loud as DEL stood on the stage and looked around as if he was surveying his next victims.

[Del] went off and started the shit with "No Need For Alarm". He did a lot of shit and the whole time, Opio and J-Biz were on either side of him getting the crowd pumped up by faking stage dives and dancing and slapping hands. The shit was really good. DEL then explained the song "Boo Boo Heads." [It] was only understandable if you were at the post-blunt status that he was. He said something like, if you step to one girl and she was treated like shit by guys prior to you, even since 2nd and 3rd grade, [then she's a boo boo head]. [Del made it outr as if it] were our faults as men for having so many females act like bitches. [The above] shit may be all wrong but that is what I understand him having said.

After DEL did his 30 or so minutes of shit he was ready to go and get his digits for the night, but Domino came correct and said, "DEL, you know there is [no] way that we can get out of here unless you flip a freestyle." So DEL got the whole crew to come back on stage and they all flipped shit. Phesto went off again and Pep Love went crazy. The shit was live. Peace.
