Because of the position I am in, I felt it not only helpful but necessary, to create a space online where I can piece together what's going on in the World of Hiero, and relate it to all of you. Being that I am the middle man between the Hiero Imperium and all ya'll online Hiero Heads, I saw no better than to start an editorial column where I answer many questions plaguing the viewers of Hiero Online, as well as shed some of the crew's insight and opinions onto their public.
Many of you have been wondering what's been going on with the Family Album? I got a chance to speak to Domino the other day, and here's a summary of what we spoke about.
The Family Album finally has a name! "3rd Eye Vision" will be the first full length album released by the Hiero family as a collective whole. There will be a total of 14 songs on the album, plus hella shorts and clips. Not to give too much away, but each member of the crew has their own clip on the album.
The official single for "3rd Eye Vision" is making its way through the legal bullshit involved in distribution, and should be available within a few weeks. Again, the titles on this wax single will be "After Dark" (Pep Love), "The Who" and "The Who Remix". The casette single for these songs will arrive shortly after the vinyl.
I hope to put up some all new, never-heard sound clips from "3rd Eye Vision" soon.
In other news, sales of Del's "Future Development" have shocked members of the Hiero Crew! Within its first month of release, "FD" sold more than 500 copies via the Net!! As of April 30th, estimated sales figures of the album are around 700+ in total! This is by far the fastest selling item we have ever had in the Online Store. Hieroglyphics told me, to tell all of yah, that they appreciate the support and hope to keep providing ya'll with what ya'll want (That Hiero bump!).
Hiero also rocked two shows this past month, both of which saw tremendous success. The Unity show brought in some 2,000 people all to see Hiero rip! I've heard nothing but good things from those who attended, and Hiero once again extends their thanx (as well as those who attended the SAC. show!).
Things seem to be going lovely for the crew. Watch this page for some interesting news I hope to drop fairly soon. . .PEACE!
Let's hear what you have to say about some of the issues discussed in this editorial on the Bulletin Board or E.Mail me. Peace.
